Course Outline

Week 1: Getting to Know Blender
In our first week you’ll learn the Blender interface inside and out. You’ll customize your workspace, navigate viewports, and master basic mesh creation. By Friday you’ll have built your first simple object and saved it with proper file organization.

Week 2: Modeling Techniques and Topology
Now that you’re comfortable in Blender, we’ll dive into edge loops, extrusions, and modifiers. You’ll practice clean topology by modeling everyday items—think cups, chairs, or simple props—and learn why good geometry makes everything downstream easier.

Week 3: Texturing and Materials
With your model built, it’s time to make it look real. You’ll unwrap UVs, create and apply materials in Blender’s shader editor, and work with basic textures. By week’s end you’ll have a textured asset ready for lighting.

Week 4: Lighting, Rendering, and Portfolio Prep
In our final week you’ll light your scene using Blender’s built‑in render engines, tweak cameras, and produce high‑quality stills. We’ll wrap up by talking portfolio best practices—how to present your models online and get noticed.

Q: Do I need any prior 3D experience?
A: Nope. This course starts at square one—just bring a willingness to learn and your computer with Blender installed.

Q: What computer specs do I need?
A: An i7 processor, at least 8 GB of RAM, and an SSD. That setup keeps Blender running smoothly.

Q: Will I learn animation too?
A: We’re focused on modeling, texturing, and rendering. Animation comes later in our Advanced 3D courses.

Q: How much practice time should I expect?
A: Classes run 40 minutes a day, Monday through Thursday. Plan on another hour or two of practice on your own each week.

Q: Can I take this course remotely?
A: Yep. You can join live online or come by our studio in Abbottabad—whatever works for you.

Q: Do I get a certificate?
A: Yes. Finish the final render project and you’ll receive a certificate from Abbottwolf Studio.
